浅間山の噴火

浅間山に噴火の気配(山が盛り上がってきた）という昨日の報道から一夜明けた今朝のニュースは２日午前１：５１頃に長野県、群馬県境の浅間山が噴火したという。
噴煙は火口から３００ｍまで上昇し南東方向に流れてるとうニュースでしたが、会社に来てみるとご覧のように車のガラスが白い？最初は霜だろうと思ったがどうやら違うらしい・・・
コンクリートの粉のようなものがガラス一面に、フーと吹き掛けるとサーと流れていく・・・これって火山灰でしょう！
浅間山から南東方向といえばこちらになりますが直線で約１１０ｋｍ(意外と近い）。浅間山は活動が活発だった０４年、中規模の噴火が４回起きた。いずれも今回の観測と同様に、噴火の前に山が盛り上がり、周期の短い地震が多くなった。また大きな噴石が２．７キロ飛び、直線で約２５０キロ離れた福島県相馬市でも降灰が観測された。という前回の噴火からすれば十分飛んでくる距離ですね。
多少なりとも農作物への影響が心配です。
